"Lines In the Sky's debut EP release May 2011! The Double Plus Good EP features 5 songs, hallmarking the young Nashville-based band's ever-developing songwriting and sound. From the initial audial vision of "My Right" to the edgier "Nine Flights High", the EP takes the listener on a journey through the mind of 19-year-old frontman Jesse Brock. His rock-poetry lyrics, agile masterful vocals, contrapuntal guitar riffs, and complete composition of all the other instrumentation on the EP, sound like the work of a veteran musician's musician. And the exhilarating drumwork from younger brother Bowman Brock perfectly complements Jesse's writing, giving the songs an impressive rhythmic vehicle that maneuvers liquidly through a percussive ebb and flow. At their respective ages 18-19 and 14-15 when the tracks were recorded, Jesse and Bowman possess the vision and ability to move the Lines In the Sky EP forward into a career entity with many successful album releases. Their compelling live show features Zack Wakefield (also 18) on bass, with guest keyboardist in tow, so the ambient depth of the recorded tracks is accomplished on stage with ease and authority. The band will be touring regionally during summer 2011 and will continue to play in the talent-rich hometown clubs of Nashville."

"Hey everybody!
It feels great to finally finish this EP. It has been in the works for such a long time and has changed its direction multiple times. I feel like this is a comprehensive presentation of some of our past and current work. Though we aren't into varying up the tracks too far out of our style, it's easy to observe the evolution of this EP in each song. I hope it gives you an idea of where we are heading as musicians, songwriters, and as a band. I also encourage everyone to look at the messages in these songs. I have my own vision for them and they are all very personal to me but I feel that the song is always the listener's interpretation and that's what makes the experience great on both ends. So feel free to take what you like from the lyrics and music. Let us know your favorites too!
Wrap yourself up in it.
Jesse"
